Boats and boating are a big part of Western Australian life. With such a coastline and so many ports and harbours plus both commercial and leisure activities, it's no wonder.


Rottnest Island is a haven for motor craftand there are a number of marinas up and down the coast to cater for the ever increasing demand for moorings.

Boating is a wonderful way of seeing Western Australia whilst on the beautiful ever changing colours of the Indian Ocean.

There are a number of organisations looking after the welfare of boaters. One such organisation is:
